今天来分享一下小学英语语法连词之并列连词。连词是一种虚词，地位并不高，所以读的时候通常要弱读。
连词（conjunction）简称conj.它是一种虚词，经常弱读。它只能起到连接的作用，要连接平等的结构（如：连接词与词、短语与短语、句子与句子）。
一、并列连词and
and用于肯定句，表示并列。连接单词短语时翻译为“和”。连接句子时翻译为“而且”，“那么”。
例句：
1、Jack and I are good friends.
杰克和我是好朋友。
2、I like English and I can sing English songs.
我喜欢英语而且我会唱英文歌曲。
3、Never give up, and you'll make it.
永远不要放弃，那么你就会成功。
and连接单词：
I like cats and dogs. (名词)
I am tall and strong.（形容词）
He sings and dances every day.(动词)
and 连接短语：
He likes watching TV and playing games.
and连接句子：
She is a good student and everyone likes her.
二、并列连词or
or用于否定句、疑问句。or在否定句中翻译为“也不”，or在疑问句中翻译为“还是”。
1、or连接单词
I can't sing or dance.（动词）
我不会唱歌也不会跳舞。
Do you like apples or oranges?
你喜欢苹果还是橙子？
2、or连接句子
Study hard or you will fail the exam.
努力学习，否则你将考试不及格。
三、并列连词but
but作为连词，主要起到连接两个并列的成分或者句子的作用，but前后的两个部分形成相反对照。but意为“但是，然而”，因此表示转折。
例句：
1、I am rich but I am not happy.
我很富有，但是我不开心。
2、I play football but I don't play well.
我踢足球，但是我踢得不好。
3、I can dance, but I can't swim.
我会跳舞，但是我不会游泳。
四、并列连词so
so作为连词，主要用于表示结果，意为“所以”。
例句：
1、It's raining outside, so I have to stay at home.
外面下雨了，所以我必须待在家里。
2、I climbed the mountain today so I am tired now.
我今天爬山了，所以我现在很累。
I am very hungry so I eat a hamburger.
我很饿，所以我吃汉堡。
五、both … and …
both and表示两者都。它的谓语动词用复数形式。
例句：
Both you and I are students.
你和我都是学生。
六、either … or …
“either … or … ”表示二选一，翻译成“要么…要么…”、“不是 … 就是 …”。它的谓语动词采用就近原则。
例句：
1、We can only choose either black or white.
我们只能在黑色或者白色中选择。
2、Either you or she likes (like) English.
要么你喜欢英语，要么她喜欢英语。
3、Either you or she is (be) happy.
要么你开心，要么她开心。
4、Either you or I am (be) a student.
要么你是学生，要么我是学生。
七、neither…nor…
neither…nor…表示既不…也不…，谓语动词就近原则。
例句：
1、I drink neither tea nor coffee.
我既不喝茶也不喝咖啡。
2、Neither Tom nor Jack likes (like) English.
Tom和Jack都不喜欢英语。
八、not only … but also …
not only … but also …表示不仅… 而且 …，谓语动词就近原则。
例句：
1、Not only you but also I am (be) a student.
不仅你是学生，我也是学生。
2、Not only Jack but also his father likes (like) English.
不仅Jack喜欢英语而且他爸爸也喜欢英语。
